Design a replacement dwelling that has local character and sits naturally in the site
This house is surrounded by trees on the banks of a small river, and maximises the connection to the outside with light, open-plan internal spaces. A variety of cladding treatments break up the overall massing of the house, and the differing roof heights give visual interest from the outside and create interesting bedrooms on the first floor.
The house was partly self-built and has Oak finishes throughout. The approximate floor area is 200sq/m.
