As soon as the hard landscaping work was finished, 15 tonnes of quality blended loam top soil was distributed around the various borders by hand, it was hard work but worth it.
As the topsoil work progressed it was great to see a 'clean' garden emerging from the old garden and the more recent building site. When the topsoil was complete it also marked the start of the most exciting stage of the garden build - the planting!
The next couple of images show some of the plants being delivered fresh from the local nursery. Before a short period of consulting planting plans, a bit of head scratching, laying out the pots and finally digging holes.
